Puzzles explores the possibilities of giving textiles a new form through traditional rag weaving. Inspired by the idea of putting different pieces together, it brings together fragments of woven fabric in a composition of colors, patterns, and textures.

Each panel has its own character, yet finds a place within the whole. Like pieces of a puzzle, they come together to create something entirely new.

Puzzles features a geometric patchwork design, combining handwoven textile panels in contrasting colors and textures.

The arrangement of individual sections gives the bag an expressive, almost mosaic-like appearance. Subtle differences in the woven surfaces add depth and character, making every piece visually distinct.

Its clean rectangular shape balances the irregularity of the patchwork, while the hand-braided rope strap adds another layer of texture.

Designed with a two-way strap system, Puzzles can be carried over the shoulder or across the body.

Puzzles draws on the traditional rag-weaving technique, known as Lie Zhi.

Previously woven textiles are cut into narrow strips and used as weft threads, which are woven together with the warp on a traditional wooden loom to create new fabric.

The resulting textile is then assembled into a series of panels, creating the bag's distinctive geometric patchwork design. A hand-braided rope strap completes the piece.

The process brings different textile fragments together, allowing their original colors and textures to become part of a new composition.

Designed to adapt to different occasions, Puzzles offers two ways to carry it.
