Made with newly sourced textile materials rather than vintage cloth, it offers a brighter, more defined color palette. Each piece develops its own arrangement of colors as the textile takes shape on the loom.

Unlike pieces made from vintage textiles, STRATA features a newly woven surface without the natural fading and signs of age found in older fabrics.

Its rectangular shape and compact proportions make it suitable for a cup, a small plate, or a few everyday objects.

STRATA is handwoven on a traditional wooden loom in Yunnan using a contemporary interpretation of the Handwoven Rag Weave technique.

Newly sourced textile strips are combined with other weaving materials to create its distinctive color arrangement. Once woven, the textile is cut to shape and finished with machine-stitched wrapped edges to secure the structure.

Each piece is individually woven, resulting in natural variations in color placement and composition.
