Each piece begins with a conversation — shaped by materials, techniques, and the way you hope to live with it.

We work directly with split-weaving, brocade, embroidery, bamboo weaving, and other textile traditions from Yunnan. Every request is approached individually, with respect for both the craft and its process.

Not every idea can be realized, but we will carefully consider what may be possible.

Process

1. Inquiry
Share your idea, reference, or need — whether specific or open-ended.

2. Conversation
We discuss materials, techniques, scale, and context to understand what the piece could become.

3. Direction
Based on the conversation, we propose a possible direction — including materials, process, timeframe, and an estimated cost.

4. Making
The piece is created by hand, following the rhythm of the craft.

5. Completion
Once finished, the piece is prepared and delivered to you.

Time & Expectation

Custom work takes time.

Depending on the materials, techniques, and complexity, most pieces require 2–3 months or longer. Some may take more time due to the nature of handcraft and sourcing.

Each piece is made by hand. Variations in color, texture, and detail are part of the process — not imperfections, but traces of how it was made.
