✦ The Idea
Some landscapes are found outside. Others are found in cloth. A strip of indigo becomes a horizon. A faded thread becomes a distant mountain. A field of color becomes an open sky.
Placed within a small frame, each piece becomes a window — not to a specific place, but to a different way of seeing.
✦ The Textile
Made from handwoven rag weave textiles from Yunnan, each composition is formed through the traditional practice of rag weaving and slow design. Old cloth is torn into strips and woven again on vintage wooden looms. What emerges is never entirely planned. Colors meet unexpectedly. Textures overlap. Patterns appear and disappear.
The result often feels less like fabric and more like an abstract textile landscape.
✦ A Small World & Desktop Aesthetic
At approximately 12 × 12 cm including the frame, each piece is intentionally modest in scale. Designed as a grounding texture for a modern home office desk, a bookshelf, a bedside table, or a quiet corner.
Small enough to fit almost anywhere. Large enough to invite a second look.
✦ No Two Views Are the Same
Each work is created from a unique section of heritage-style woven textile. Variations in weave, color, and raw fiber texture are an essential part of the piece.
Like looking through different windows, every composition offers its own atmosphere for warm minimalist styling.
