A strap made to move through everyday life—lightweight, practical, and shaped by multiple hands and traditions.
Each piece begins with a handwoven textile band from Yunnan, woven slowly on a backstrap loom using cotton and silk threads. Along the edges, embroidered stitching is added by hand, bringing another layer of texture and detail to the piece.
The weaving and embroidery come from different craft traditions, yet meet naturally within the same object.
